I put Hammon Covers on a Manji Harmonica and call it "HaMonji"
I like the look and feel and it sounds great. It isn't as loud but I mostly play amplified anyway.

I did the same thinking that I would like it better as the hammond covers are so comfortable but I took them off and put them back on the Hammon. To me the Manji sounds much better with its own plates and the Hammond I actually liked better with it own plates then with the hammon plates on the manji. So I will probably get a set of both harps. The Hammond is a great harp.

it certainly looks cool... i dig the full length covers. and i like the composite comb too, its by far my favorite, followed closely be the stock hammond or promaster comb.
