So I got a crossover in C from rockinrons. GREAT place to buy a harp as most of you know, but the harp swells! I swear, it does. The tines are sticking out on my 6 hole and they went a litle off to the side. What gives? I thought they were sealed. It played ok, but the swelling still makes it as annoying as a regular marine band. O-blows better, but the tuning was off, as in out of tune 6 hole blow from the get go. Maybe I got a bum model, but for $60, come on.

I have Crossovers in G, Bb, and C and I haven't noticed any swelling, but I'm inclined to agree with the meh-ness. One build quality flaw I've noticed is that the cover plates on my G are very rough at the seams and it can hurt to play if you're not careful - I need to file it down.
As for overblows, I'm not practiced in the technique but I was messing around trying it one day and was able to get a much better 6OB on my C Golden Melody than the Crossover. The GM is the current favorite of my collection - I think I want to get a few more.
