I would like to get a harp rack. Rockin Rons has 4 options...K & M brand. From $8 to $31.

Any recommendations? I've seen other brands on Amazon as well...wouldn't have to buy from Ron on this one.

Thanks,

John

I have used the $8 rack since the 70's. It was about $5 then and is the one piece of harmonica/harp gear that hasn't gone up about 100 times in price! No matter what rack you buy, it will be awkward. Most people that try to play on a rack spend a ton of time trying to get it to feel like it does when it is in their hands. It really never will. You have to view it as a different kind of instrument. You can learn to make it sound pretty close though! Don't get caught up in trying to modify, buy the most expensive one because most that do end up quiting it anyway. It takes a ton of time to get it to feel natural. Plus you will be playing guitar, or something else at the same time. That also takes alot of time to get use to. I say buy the cheap one and see how you like it. Walter
