what a terrible ten days i have just had.
Last sunday tidying the house for my wife (coz it was mothers day) i bent to push in a half closed draw and WALLOP! prolapsed a disc in my spine, that is a bloody painfull experiance i can tell you.
Later that day i sent a text to my severly disabled mate to say i couldnt take him swimming as usual the next day, five minutes later he rings me back "cept it aint him its his ex wife on his phone telling me he is in intensive care having taken a massive overdose coz he just cant take it anymore
Next up my dog, which only has one eye comes into the room and walks into the chair then the radiator then the door, i look at her eye and its gone the same way as the first one so yesterday i had to hold my lovely dog down so the vet could put her to sleep, i know this aint the real blues but fucking hell it feels like it to me

Geordie. What a shit time you are having. Seems to be one thing after the other. I really do feel for you. I only hope the worst is now over. The only way left is up. Keep your chin up mate. Wish there was more I could do. All the best.

geordie. not to steal your thunder, but in a 3 week span, 9 months ago now, i lost my wife, my job and my house.. in that order. i dont have to have anyone tell me what the blues is. if you feel it, it's there. rearing its evil fucking head and daring you to do something about it.

Yup, the blues is colorblind. Sorry to hear your woes Geordie, I know by your posts you have a lust for life and will get through it. Your brothers in music wish you well.

@ geordie & Kyzer. Nothing I can say will make you guys feel better. But my best goes out to you as I express my gratefulness for my current situation and wipe a tear from my eye for yours. Holy cats guys, very sad.

Geordie, sorry to hear of your bad run. Better days are ahead. Like Kyzer, a few years ago I too lost my wife, house and job all in a very short time. Since then I've met and married the best woman I've ever known, bought and rehabed the house I'ved lived in the longest in my life, and started my own business (nothing to brag about, but it gives me a place to go every day, and I'm payin' my bills!). Hang in there guys, it will turn around.

Cheers lads, thanks for the words of support it means a lot.
I have a song called " My Dog Has Only Got One Eye" inspired by Rusty i just need to find the right backing track so i will post it as soon as i have it sorted.
My friend is out of hospital he took over a hundred paracetemol plus other stuff but because he vomited whilst unconcious most of it didnt get into his bloodstream, I have mixed emotions though because his condition is incurable and degenerative and he says he still wants out so it aint over yet
