I've been looking over my lunch break here...I thought there was a vid comparison between the HG50 and Jason's Bassman. Or at least I vaguely remember the Bassman popping up somewhere.
I've had no luck. Any help? ---------- Mike Fugazzi vocals/harmonica MySpace YouTube Twitter Facebook Album Ordering

Th Moulin footage from Holland was a bassman (Before I got an HG 50 over there) There should be a ton of stuff on you tube pre HG 50, but Moulin, thats the one I think of right off it soundspretty great for a bassman which is an amp I like. The HG 50 definitely has a more solid, rounded, cut, balanced, symmetrical type of thing going on it can mostly be heard in the chords or in any bend notes containing partial chords. The HG 50 is like a cross between a Concert and a Bassman with better made parts, speakers and details. --------- Meow Meow Meow

If you're still around...
How is the amp at lower volumes? Like 100 people...not coffee shops or anything?
I don't think I'd get to crank said amp very much. Would the 1x10 plus 1x12 option be better for that?
Currently I use a Double Trouble and it isn't loud enough on stage for when we play our loudest during the night - but it is close. I am fine with miking front of house as we run our own sound. ---------- Mike Fugazzi vocals/harmonica MySpace YouTube Twitter Facebook Album Ordering
