Dennis Gruenling has teamed up with Dave Barrett,Joe Filisko,Kinya Pollard and Rusty Zinn to produce the new double CD called the "History of the Blues Harmonica Concert".
This fine two-cd set consists of Joe Filisko leading you through the pre-war blues era,
David Barrett covering post-war,Kinya Pollard with a tribute to Paul Butterfield, and Dennis Gruenling rounding out the set with his unique sound and a tribute to George Smith,as well as a few other great tunes.
All the artists are introduced by Dave-he does a great job. The artist's also introduce the songs themselves, with some unique insight and lesser known facts about some of the most famous, and not so famous players of the instrument.
All in all,a great 2 cd set-a must for every harmonica players collection.
It is available at CD Baby for purchase as a 2 CD set,or an MP3 download.

David has posted a harp/position listing on his forum (should be readable even if you don't subscribe):

harpposition listing history blues harmonica concert

The liner notes say "Recorded at: Harmonica Masterclass Workshop at the San Jose Hilton & Towers, May 4/5, 2007"

I picked one up on Saturday and plan to listen on my commute.
