I got a chance to sit with PT Gazell and Jellyroll Johnson this evening. Jelly was an unexpected surprise...

I had some butterflies that I couldnt shake off, and when we all played, it only showed that much more. What can I say? It's hard to get out of your shell and get into a comfort zone when you have such talent on either side of you putting you in your place. They have 70 years in combined playing experience to my year and a half. you can imagine how it went...

it was my first in person meet with folks I hold in high regard, and it was a good time.

My son is pissed at me for not taking pics, but Im gonna try and squeeze in there again some time and will certainly snap a few for my own collection...

Now for Adam and Billy and Deak and Brandon and the rest of the crew in May.

Life is good for this poor Tennessee boy.

That's a couple of class players to sit in with. It must have been a great experience for you Kyzer.

PT is going to ruin you. Be careful. That crazed lunatic is going to get you wanting to put little flaps on your reeds and then I'll have to put you on my list of people that need to be smoked too.

And Jelly will turn you into a nice guy with smooth tone. There is no room in the world for nice guy harmonica players.
