Love P.T.! If the harp fairy came and touched me with her magic wand,I be hard pressed to choose between P.T. or LW. I like him that much.

Love PT - he's just a wonderful player and a great guy.
@Joch - I don't believe there is any advantage or disadvantage to the two thumbs up method. I have tried it and it doesn't work for me at all. I honestly believe the shape and size of your face (jutting chin? Receding chin?) and hands probably leads you to the grip that works best. The goal is the same - being able to seal off the unplayed holes on the front of the harp so that everything is directed into your cup.
I love this song! Yes, this song and everything else on the Back To Back CD he put out with Brendan Power. Really cool to see him in the studio doing it!

PT, would I be correct in assuming that you use ET tuned harps? I'm just curious. I would assume you do because you play mostly single note melody stuff and you use several different position. Thanks.
Hi Ryan, I mostly use ET but only from hole 4 up to 10. The compromise tuning that comes with the Seydel 1847s on 1,2 & 3 I usually leave alone. ---------- "Life...10 Holes & 20 Reeds At A Time"

Thanks PT, that's actually a really helpful answer. That's exactly what I've been thinking about doing, but I hadn't heard of anyone doing this so I wasn't sure how it would work out. I don't do a lot of chordal stuff(some rythmic vamping and tongue slaps) and I only use the chords on holes 1 through 3. I think I'm now going to try this so that the chords on the bottom are a bit smoother but I can still play in other positions, like 12th, without it sounding really out of tune.
EDIT: Would this tuning cause noticeable "beating" in the octaves(the ones that inlcude one of the first 3 hole)? I do use octaves fairly often, but as long as the beating isn't really intense I don't think it would be a big problem.
