There's another harp player based out of NYC/NJ using the name and his site is http://www.bbq-bob.com, and I found out about him when I did a gig at Tramps in NYC with Jimmy Rogers from several NY friends of mine.
James Harman told me about a guitar player in the Denver, CO who was using the name as well (and his real name ain't Bob).
Then, of course, there's the original Barbeque Bob Hicks, the 12 string/slide guitarist from Atlanta, GA who passed away in the 30's.
Hey, I can't stretch myself that thin (or I'd be competing for the number of BS stories per minute with guys like SBW II or Big Walter Horton, and they told some real doozies)>

every time i here see your name i think of the sitcom frasier where he's trying to find a friend and meets a guy in a wheelchair,that wear's weird hats and has a obsession with bbq.named BBQ Bob,No offence to anyone,i love BBQ, wear weird hats and was lucky enough to get out of a wheelchair,after my accident.

Earlier I always thought of BBQ Sauce when reading your name. Now I always think of your name when I pour some BBQ Sauce. But then I also think about the number three when I see the color red... Our brains a perculiar biest.
