I'm really tempted to try my hand at busking someday and will need to seriously start to research/practice with some kind of relatively inexpensive foot drum or other percussion set-up.

Does anyone have a great suggestion?

Thanks

Adam uses Framer foot drums. Farmer has stuff from simple rattles etc. to full fledged sets. I made a cajon this spring and still debating making foot pedals so I can use it for foot percussion. Since then I got a guitar and I've been concentrating on learning that. I want to be total acoustic and as portable as possible.

Check out videos by Juzzie Smith. Perhaps something like his box with pedal would be simple
