Well there is some really noce harp licks in there Steve but for me I think the harp was too loud and you didn't seem to follow the guitar groove as well as you could have. The guitar was jazzed up but the harp was bluesy. Just kind of didn't fit that well for me. All in all a good set of vids though. nice venue too, looks like an office tower or cafeteria setting. What was it? Good on ya' man. ---------- "Keep it in your mouth" - XHarp
We were playing at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences where I work. I was louder up close but Daniel was playing thru (2) 15 inch monitors that were placed out way in front of us because of the way the kiosk were situated. Out in the audience the sound man said we were evenly balanced.
I am just a simple blues player, it is what it is.
Thanks for checking them out. PS= Every first friday of the month the museum shows old sci-fi movies at 7:00PM for free (the Acro Cafe serves hot dogs and beer) and there is live music from 6-7:00 PM.
Hey Steve, Nice vid's but I have to agree the Guitar didn't fit the harp. I'm a Blues player also and thats where my heart is, it's hard to break away some times. Any way---- I recived my Tweed edition PigNose 7-100 amp last Tuesday. Man it's a kick ass little amp. !! I took it to my rock band practice and every one was blown away at the quality and sound. The Guitar player said he just had to have one to. We used the line out to the PA and the little amp. really kicked ass. This past Sunday I played thru it at church with my country gospel band and got quite a few compliments on it. I actually got a short applause after I finished one of my lead breaks. It startled me because that has never happened in the past 2 years we have been playing, for any one of us! I see in the videos you are running tandum PigNoses. I really thought of getting another and doing the same thing. Are you running a line out to the 2nd amp or splitting the mic signal and going in the fronts of the amp's.? Thanks for the videos, I probably wouldn't have got the little Piggie with out hearing you play thru it. WOW I'm glad I did. Mike
I had a special switcher made 15 years ago that can handle up to 4 amps with the ability to choose one or any combo,or all at once. I started using 2 and 3 small amps back when I was playing for a honky-tonk and a blues band at the same time for 7 years. They were louder some nites than others.
But yes, 2 little piggies together are huge.
Thanx for the pointers and advise guys! As they say on the sports show ,"PTI", I will try and do better next time.
