No camera. I've always had a crappy one. It Crapped out and I missed the deadline. I had a good one too, inspired by Nat Riddles.
Oh well. Next time.

I didn't enter for the lamest reason - basically, couldn't find the time to work on something to he extent that I'd be happy to submit it. Instead I frittered away on countless less important projects.

Hope to join sometime. Main reasons I didn't this time were: 1) video recording - I use linux! no satisfying video solution :o and 2) time to prepare. I haven't taken the time yet to see all the entries, but I've enjoyed and learned from the few I've watched.
I do like the idea of playing in public in general, and this is a nice way to do it. I am not specially competitive, but I enjoy the critical feedback and to see what others are up too. HPC is a great forum to see each other play at each others best. Thanks for organising it, I am fully enjoying although only as a spectator, for now.

Like Kyser, I look at these HPC's as a personal challenge to stretch my skills in various directions. The voting is really just the most simplified feedback, an "I enjoyed that". I'd like people to post more detailed feedback too, but I understand that not everyone has the time or inclination to do that. So I think that the voting is useful. The HPCs are a great learning experience.

That's what I did too, just played and practiced as normal nothing specific. Then all of a sudden HPC3 was here and I pulled up a piece I hadn't played in a month or two! Voila, it was better. No pressure. I think the best part is if everyone offered a critique of what they liked didn't like because that feedback is very helpful to improve regardless of the skill level of the player making the comment!

I participated in HPC2 , but couldn't find time to go trough all the videos and vote ,some people got upset about it, so to not create much drama this time, I have opted to stay out of it.
