Hi everyone, I'm Phil and I'm studying earth sci in southern Ontario (Canada). I recently (mid-2009) started learning blues harp.
Everything started with hearing a song by Canned Heat. Now I listen to James Cotton, Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry, Carey Bell, Taj Mahal, Canned Heat, the list goes on..
After a few months of listening to these guys, I just had to buy a harp and start learning. I'm at the advanced beginner stage, though having a hard time finding good tabbed practice songs, bluesy ones especially (can only bend holes 4 & up). I've practiced a bunch of various licks but have trouble combining them. Any suggestions on practice songs would really be appreciated.
Adam, your videos are instrumental (pun intended) to learning blues harmonica. Thank you!
Philippe.
