In tribute to the great harmonica genius Little Walter, born this day in 1930, here is my version of his awesomely emotional track "Lights Out" from a tribute album I created with great British blues guitar supremo Chris Corcoran for Honeyboy Amps. As with any Little Walter track I cover, I don't follow it note for note as I feel its more in keeping with his creative spirit to create my own version. This is also a rare opportunity to hear me on Chromatic harmonica! Hope you enjoy! :D

Damn Giles. That's some mighty fine playing right there. Forgive my chromatic ignorance, but are you using the button often? 20% 10% 50% of the time? You may have inspired me to break out the chromo and blow out the cobwebs.

Thanks Kham - really glad you enjoyed it! No button usage at all!

I don't play chromatic often enough to be honest its a great part of blues harmonica and am going to try and record more in the next couple of years :)
