I don't know that I have a favorite but this is a good one
This might be sacrilege but I'm not a fan of one that shows up here way to often. ---------- The Art Teacher Formally Known As scstrickland

Either Muddy's version with Well's on harp, or Clapton's version from 'From The Cradle' with Portnoy on harp. The latter is note for note copy of the former.
I posted a thread about the song about a week ago. It's an absolute gem. ---------- YouTube SlimHarpMick

He gets an unbelievable amount of emotion into that solo. It often brings me to tears.
I should also add that his vocals on this are absolutely superb. You really do feel that Bill had lived every note and every line of that song.

I have a "Slow Blues" playlist on lala.com. A couple that come to mind that haven't been mentioned here:
Serves You Right to Suffer - J. Geils Band Orange Driver - J. Geils Band Stone Crazy - Buddy Guy (No harp, but great tune) Too Much Seconal - Johnny Winter (no harp, but blues FLUTE!)
EDIT: Just reread the OP. It states "...harmonica..." Sorry about that.

OK Oxharp! you win. That was Bad@ss. Dude sang, played Harp and drank a beer. I wanna grow up to be like that. Blues, Beer and Blowin' thats what its all about. Maybe Babes too but my wife approves of the first three. The last one involves major negotiating. ---------- The Art Teacher Formally Known As scstrickland
