Just completed this cover of Te Ni Nee Ni Nu. I love playing the tramp groove, so I played throughout the entire thing. I even had 12 bars of spotlight to play some licks I ripped from Louis Jordan!

Just an Ultimate 57 straight into the direct input box. Since we're doing distanced recording, my studio engineer always wants a "dry" track. (No amp, no effects.) It's easier to mix and add any effects later.

The amp sound was achieved through the digital workstation, after the fact. It came out pretty good!
