They are a fine harp - equal tuning tho which may make it sound a bit brittle for chords, etc.
---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!

I like them a lot. Best out of the box harp in the $27-$31 range as far as I'm concerned. As far as a 4 pack for 116.00 Thats about the average price for 4 of them. Maybe your saving $1 a harp.
Does your price include shipping?? Do you get to choose which key? Make sure they have them IN STOCK before ordering or you could be waiting weeks or months for them.

$29 ea. and $6 shipping. It's not a "deal" and its not over priced. a c d and g are good keys to have. Like I said before. Make sure they have them IN STOCK and ready to ship. If they can't tell you they have them in hand and can ship immediately I wouldn't order. I have heard " We expect a large order in any day and will ship to you as so as they come in" before and has taken 2 mo. to receive my order. BUT I did get my order and I like the harps alot!

No. This was about 6 or 7 months ago. The harps are good harps they are just difficult to find and receive in a reasonablt time period. Check this place. Pick your key and free shipping. Contact them and see what they have in stock. I've not ordered from them yet but have heard only good things about them. I think the price works out to the same as your talking about.

I use the ones I have, like them but as Ray said a while back it was a hassle to get them.In fact I think Coast to Coast stopped selling them for that reason.(that was then I don,t know about now)The other thing that I liked about them aside from sounding good was that you could get replacable reedplates for $10.00.

i find them to be very responsive and bend easily.
i have played them almost exclusively for over 3 years. these things have yet to die on me and i dont take very good care of them. i leave them in the car overnight in all weather. i play them right after meals. just about all the no-no's- i do! i even wash them in the dishwasher sometimes.
the only time one of them has gone bad is when i got a piece of lint or something jamming a reed and i went poking in there with a screw driver without removing the covers.
there are others on the bushman forum that will tell you the same about the longevity of the harps.

Harper(the didgeridoo/harp player)swears by them, and a like the acoustic sound he gets with them. On my list of harps I want to try! ----------

Don't know what your skill level is, but they are flat out great harps and great for beginner/intermediates because they are really easy to play and the quality out of the box is consistently very good. I've only been playing a couple of years and I still feel a huge difference in playability between DFs and say MBs (although I love the MB sound). There have been issues with ordering directly from Bushman in the past, hopefully they've been addressed. Musiciansfriend.com carries them and you could buy from them with confidence. I heard that Sam Ash is also now carrying them.
