Diggs, those I found when I got customs and also every note is much clearer as well.

I know for a fact that both Kim and Dennis both use harps customized by Joe Filisko, who hasn't taken on any new customers in the last 5-7 years, and the last time he did, the turnaround time was 18 months long, and that's how large his workload got, mainly from big name pros.

Customs make everything easier to play, tho anyone with bad playing technique is only gonna improve marginally as long as he still has bad laying technique, and with a custom, the bad playing technique tends to show up even more so.

Since using customs, I've had to further refine my playing technique, but in the process of doing that, I found that I can still get even more than I used to even playing stock stuff.

I'll say this, one you begin playing customs on a regular basis, it's often hard to go back to the stock stuff unless it's more top shelf quality, and even top shelf OOTB stuff can be drastically improved with the customizing process.

Dennis plays harps made by Joey.

@Waltertore

Don't get me started on you. Figure out who you're speaking to before you really start to get dumb.

Sonny Terry...DEAD
Jr Wells...DEAD

You can't be a serious player if you're dead not to mention the harps back then were much better than they are now and furthermore, custom harps weren't really around. FURTHER TO THAT, I know JR Wells had at least three custom harps because I gave them to him in 1993.

Great that you're a Hohner endorsee. Whoppppppteeee Doooo!

And BTW- I AM more or less a super hero of the harmonica.

Tone it down, everybody.

This thread is locked.

I have contacted Walter and asked him to reconsider. His voice was and is an important one here.

I realize that the full moon is tomorrow night and everybody is a little tweaky, but gee whiz.
