Due to the Covid situation this year I learned how to build effect pedals. That was something that I alway wanted to learn and now I know how to do it! I can build my own electric toys!
An EQ pedal for harp was something that I alway wanted, so with my new knowledge and skills I started to design it.
It was a long project, I wanted to be a useful tool, so I spend a lot of time fine tuning the frequencies and then making sure that I can do a quality built that will last for years.
I am very happy how it turn out.
------------------------------ The HarpMojo is an equalizer designed to boost the frequencies of our instrument, improving the sound of any amplifier!. The "Mojo" is found in the frequencies that we are boosting: not so low to lose definition, not too high to generate feedback.
Controls:
Fatness The body, the bass of the harmonica. The Fatness knob acts on the frequencies that generate the low mids but without losing clarity in the low notes.
Bite This knob controls the definition of the harmonica. Many times when we want to give our sound a little more shine we end up calling the feedback monster. The Bite knob allows you to give the sound more presence without promoting very high frequencies that can sound unpleasant or that can detonate feedback.
Looks great Rogionzab, nice work man. Maybe it would be a good idea to make a YouTube video demonstrating it. I'm sure many people will be interested in hearing it in action.
