Has anyone tried one of these for harp? They seem to have a lot of bells and whistles that I would never use but do they produce good sound with a mic and harp?

Do you mean the SuperChamp X2, which replaced the SuperChamp XD?

Dave Barrett used to promote the XD as an ideal value for money harp amp.

The X2 is similar I believe but has added features including capacity to download customised amp models.

Personally, that's all a bit outside my sphere of interest but I understand some people get into that side of music and all ppower to those who do. If you do, the X2 may be very cool.

If you don't, I think it can also be a pretty handy amp for harp. But a lot of the features of the amp are surplus to requirements.

If you use the clean channel, I believe it's fine for harp just like that. I'm talking outside my specific personal experience though, just spouting stuff I've heard.
