Harpsurgery.com has just started a monthly podcast series, showcasing everything harp related. In this months first issue, 5 young harp players (including myself) from around the world are showcased.
Heres a link to the podcast:

I listened to this on my commute this morning. Great show, Elwood! Just the right length for my drive, too.

Damn! I was already feeling old. Now I feel ancient. Those guys are way too young to be playing that well. I hope I'm around long enough to see them become rich and famous. LOL
BTW- I don't think Rachel Plas is playing a "G'".

Forgot to mention, Jay's track is from his upcoming album due later this year. But for now you can download it from iTunes and various other places online.

Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don't live it, it won't come out of your horn. They teach you there's a boundary line to music. But, man, there's no boundary line to art. - Charlie Parker

I'd like to do more of these - lots more. I keep my ear as close the ground as possible, but if anyone has recommendations for an artist who just HAS to be featured in a podcast, you know where to find me.

He's gonna get a 'swole' head when he reads this but Zack Pomerleau would have fit in this group.

I offered him a slot. He said his dog ate his home recording studio, so I gave him detention.

By the way, does anyone know of other harmonica podcasts out there?

[Edit in response to Zack's comment below: That's a pretty good reason to be distracted, and I figured as much. No sweat, I say; there will be a next time]

Tuckster, thanks for giving me a heads-up. I don't have a harp at hand, but I'm guessing it's an F harp...

So the final adjudication is in (my dear mother, who for reasons unexplained reads the Harp Surgery voraciously): she likes them all, but Will Pound was her favorite.
