jbone - I think your well wishes pertain to the huricane currently threatening New Orleans. What you might not be aware of is that a few days ago doctors found a small tumor behind Jason's right eye and he is facing surgery to have it removed very soon. Apparently it is an unusual case and the doctors are very optimiistic about Jason making a full recovery. You might want to check out his Facebook page for additional details.

Thanks Tom. Of course good thoughts and prayers go Jason's direction.
We have our own unique eye related challenge currently- Jolene's cataracts- several of them- are bad enough now to need removal. Our GoFundMe is kind of stalled but we're going ahead no matter what. She can still play but reading lyrics has become a challenge. Our forays onto Main Street are somewhat fruitful and we have a gig just a few days before her first visit with the optho doc. All $$ we can raise will will go to surgery and new eyeglasses.

Hey Yall! Thanks a lot! I've been more than Blessed by all of the incredible outpouring of support and love from everywhere! Thank you! Surgery is this Weds the 21st. they got to remove some of my skull on the temple to get the tumor out but it sounds crazier than it really is, I guess they do this a lot for ear surgeries etc. I'm in great hands medically, with Kate, family, the music community and with the Big Man! I feel very positive and am in super high spirits with tons of hope no matter what the outcome and all ya'll have made that SO EASY! Thank you! |Jason ---------- www.mooncat.org

We're all pulling for you, Mooncat. I know you will not only survive but prosper after this. You will write memorable songs about what you've been through, and we'll all learn something important from them.
