Hello,
does anybody have experience with Brendan's AsiaBend harmonica? In his videos it sounds fantastic, but how are your experiences with it out of the box?
Thanks

He certainly gets a unique sound from it.
I played one at SPAH, but haven’t purchased one.
He has so many great products, he just issued a new version of the Lucky 13, that’s a Real winner.
The AsiaBend is draw only, you would have to learn to play it (like a Bass harmonica is blow only).

I have one. It plays well, but could use a little airtightening - maybe flat sanding the comb on the reedplate mating surfaces and the front where the slide lies.

But otherwise it plays fine.

I have one. It does not suit my improv at blues jam situations where there's no time or place for experimentation, but it is a high quality and interesting instrument that I pull out and work with at home. I am certain if I ever get 1/2 as good as Brendan I could sit in with some jazz guys and it would be a good fit.

Thanks for the information!
Now I only need to wait until there will be some of the harps because on Brendan's website it's said they're out of stock at the moment...
@Gnarly: Thank you for mentioning the new Lucky 13s! Didn't know Brendan made an upgrade.

Looking at Bren’s forum, I see that he has some improvements planned for this model.
Lots of stuff from this guy!
