Does anyone have experience using the Shinobix? It seems like a really good idea.
I have not found any user reviews, expect from Suzuki Endorsers.

Also, it is being sold in the EU market?
I have not been able to find it (other than eBay traders importing from Japan).

I use 3-5 squares of toilet paper wadded up in the hollow of my left hand as a silencer. Works well and costs next to nothing. Try it before you invest in an expensive contraption.

Like Happy Honker I have a quick fix to try out.

I got some foam rubber pipe cladding and cut it to size, then placed an old pen into the cladding at the rear of the harp so that it pushes the harp further away from the foam rubber for easier playing. Next tape up the ends tightly and if desired fill the small holes at the ends with cloth or tissue.

I was getting such a tight seal when I gripped the device firmly that strange overtones sounded.

Here are 4 photos, click on the right of the image to view them all. I even managed to fit it tightly in a rack which I'm going to try out.

You could also carve a small hole in the back to fit a mic.
