Fair dinkum, Rick is marketing an EL84 amp?
I guess we are all permitted to have a change of heart. It has been a long time, after all.

I have heard and played through many Fender push-pull EL84 amps. I even have a Stromberg-Carlson Signet 22 with 2-EL84s that does OK for blues harp, though better for guitar in my opinion. I have played the Sig 22 through different speakers, including a Weber 12F125S speaker. It was decent...

I still like the sound of my 2-6V6 and 2-6L6 tube amps better. Those specific power tubes seem to have a smoother, beefier distortion that appeals to me.

The switchable power level on the Delta 84 is interesting, though. Do you think it cuts out a tube and switches to be a 5 watt single ended EL84 amp?

I have a Peavey Bravo that runs EL-84's. Put a Weber speaker in it and I believe I'm running an AT-7 on the front end. One of my all time favorites. It's my go to amp for ease of travel, if I don't anticipate any volume wars.

The Delta 84 was dropped several months ago. It had issues that could not be overcome at the target price point. Too bad, it sounded very good. The engineering that Bruce Collins put into it was unique.
