I currently have the original. I find it rounds out my tone even when off, rolling the mid highs. I’m not really sure I’m a fan. I’m wondering if the version 2 does the same and the highs are more present in the repeats or if it’s overall a cleaner signal.

I've owned/gigged with both and, at a push, I prefer the slightly brighter response of the V2.

But - honestly - there really isn't that much discernible difference between the two units.

I prefer the V2 also. It has more presence, less compression.

Interesting. My problem is disengaged it darkens my tone which isn’t good for how I play.

I have the V2 only. I find it bright and clear. There is only a very small amount of rolling off the highs when engaged.

Very subtle difference. Slightly more Treble/Presence in the V2. The original seemed slightly darker, but very slight difference. I have the V2 because my original mysteriously "Disappeared". Just decided to try the V2. I think I prefer it over the original. There was someone that did a comparison here a few years back, if I remember correctly.
