Definitely in my pantheon of all time great songs. The relentless march of names from the greatest era of music, and i'm not even gonna add an "in my opinion", just reinforces that none of us gets out alive.
Folks commenting on his radio hits, but if you want to find the true gems, check out his early recordings in which one of the cuts is the AM radio hit, but the rest are songs that never hit the mainstream radio - these are AMAZING funky tunes. ---------- The Iceman
