I wanted to share this with everyone who is shut in right now! Back in October Nic sat in with me at a gig for a few tunes and it was a blast. He has such a great tone and wonderful phrasing. Unfortunately, the video wasn't framed up great so he's off frame for a lot of the video but the audio is there. I hope you all enjoy!

Nice. Nic straight PA and, I think, mostly LP.
The lick at 5:37 I heard first from JR eludes me. Because of this I went back to the shed and I got it - just needs that muscle memory work to torch phase.
I used 2 YT posts, JR's Glissandos and his Playing Fast #3. Those and re-inspired by this one.

Great stuff there! As an old Deadhead and harp player, I really enjoyed that. Nic covers a lot of different styles and techniques in his playing.

I like the way he plays WITH the music. He's playing fits. I think theres a time to fit and blend and a time to stand out. He does that well.

I also like the way he ascends and descends the entire harp smoothly.
The first couple minutes in, is especially fitting. Sounds like hes been playing that song for years.

As Im trying to fit a few ob's in my playing. I like the ones he hits. Not forced. They sounded like just another part of his run.

At 5;37 He also has a spin/off of a Pat ramsy trill. I say it that way, bcuz the first one I heard a similar one to this was J Ricci, talking about Pat ramsy stuff. I'll try to find the cd

I needed to practice uploading---Heres Pat ramsy trill at about 33sec.
The hole song is full of stuff
