Has anybody tried a harmonica through a harmonizer for vocals?
I´ve seen quite a few YT clips lately of great sounding such equipment and envisaged a possibility of playing a five harmony part on some background riffs ...

I use a TC Electronic VoiceLive Touch for vocals, and sometimes I accidentally have it on when I play harp thru the vocal mic.
I immediately turn off the effect.
YMMV
BTW, Brendan uses the same unit for looping, don't know if he uses the harmonies--oh BeePee . . .

Thanks Gnarly, I´ll check out Brendan P´s stuff more thoroughly. I well aware that many gadgets says no when you´re introducing them to a harmonica -- but some work!

I have a TC Electronic as well--I think its called voice tone--?? I leave it at a weekly gig--6-7 years old

I love it for voice cuz I don't overuse it----my band friends who "wouldn't step up" forced me to get one-no regrets -

But like Gnarly "I IMMEDIATELY TURN IT OFF, FOR HARP"
It sounds terrible. dont think the brand or model matters, if its a vocal harmonizer, I would highly recommend not getting one for harp
One time I forgot to turn it off, my harp player buddy came to stage and asked "whats wrong with your harp, it sounds horrible" the pedal was on.
After I turned it off for next song --he said now it sounds good--VH's do not sound good for harp

Delay pedals however thicken and highly improve the sound. I love "slapback"
Lone wolf "octave pedal" sounds good, as well

Hope this helps. don't like being negative, but don't get harmonizer for harp

I've been using harmonizers since the late 80's, used to use two SPX-90 rack units for two voices--still got one, make offer.
I have gone thru a lot of them, my latest TC crapped out so I bought a replacement.
Check out Jacob Collier!

@snowman: Thanks, I hear you. If I buy a harmonizer pedal it will be for my singing duo partner, who could benefit from some harmonies, and not for the harmonica.
(I own several delay pedals, as well as a LW Harp octave.)

Cheers,
Martin
