My son is studying music performance at San Diego State and has access to a top notch recording studio for personal projects. My wife suggested he an I record something while we have this opportunity. We can lay down multiple tracks. He plays alto, soprano, and tenor sax as well as bassoon and a bit of guitar and ukulele. I play harmonica, trombone and trumpet. Do any of you have a suggestion for something that might work well with these instruments?

If you enjoy 1920-1930 early jazz or blues/jazz you would have good instrumentation. Think St. James Infirmary ad Mini the Moocher type songs. ----------

I've always loved the trumpet/sax/trombone sound of Chicago - maybe a Chicago cover song? ---------- The Iceman

Some good suggestions above. Unsure if you want to work in vocals/percussion/etc., but if you're into The Band, there's some stuff on the Rock of Ages live album that could fit a lot of these instruments, and that music can also work very well with harp (whether you want to take a solo or just play fills or call/response).
Allen Toussaint arranged all the horn parts, and there's some serious players (and stories) involved.

The later period of the Butterfield Blues Band (1967-1971) incorporated harmonica with a horn section. An eponymous King Biscuit Boy album from the mid-70s has a harmonica and brass section with the horn parts also arranged by Allen Toussaint. You could also check out Roomful of Blues.

I am appreciating your suggestions. Stuff I can get charts for will probably be easier to use.
