He was a really fine harmonica player and a cool guy. We had a good hang when I was in Vaancouver a couple of years ago after also spending some time at the World Harmonica Festival in Trossingen in 2013 and later at a SPAH convention (we'd known each other since about 1990).

Last Christmas I was in Vancouver and proposed we get together and he demurred due to some health challenges. Then a few days ago, I saw his obit....

He not only played with the Canucks and the VSO but was Super Tramp's go to harp guy for stadium gigs when in town. He taught harp with humour and comradery at the Hornby Island Blues Camp and with the Movable Music School here in Vancouver.
He will be missed.
