Fine, sturdy, reliably groove-creating bassist Larry Taylor, who performed with the pioneering Canned Heat alongside blues harmonica and slide virtuoso Alan Wilson, and who brought a propulsive energy to some of John Mayall's best music, particularly USA Union, with guitarist Harvey Mandel. A fine example of Taylor's lithe and swinging bass work from John Mayall's "USA Union" album.

Was sad to hear of the passing away of Larry 'The Mole' Taylor. He was for my money one of most solid blues bass players to ever grace the stage.

Holy moly....never focused on this individual...he sure straddled the blues/jazz genres....not so jazzy that the blues nazi's objected - a good balancing act.
