Can anyone suggest a suitable 250K pot to fit a JT 30 shell.
I want to use the mic stand hole to mount the pot through.
I'd like a single stage 16 mm (5/8") diameter body so it will clear the gasket.
Needs to be a long shaft, minimum lenght of 22mm or (7/8") 25mm or 1" would be better
I'm presuming the value is correct, I was advised to use this value from the supplier,
It's for a Shure transitory 99G86 white element from the mid 50's
If anyone has a model number and supplier that would be great.

Hi, John, I had a quick scout about the Australian suppliers I’ve used in the past but I didn’t spot anything I feel confident to recommend.
That’s not to say that a more persistent search would be fruitless.
I do know that if you contact Dave Wren at “the harp mic shop”, he will have exactly what you need. You’ll pay a premium for postage though, if you buy from him. The postage will probably be more than the part.
If you hunt around on the site though, you might see exactly the specs you need. I think you can use 100k-250k and be ok. Linear taper is probably better but with the lower value maybe not so critical.
I’m thinking the diameter of the pot itself is probably ideally fairly narrow. Many common pots are 24mm across and I expect that’s too wide.
Actually, I think I’ve got one here that I took out of a jt30. I will have a hunt through my spares if you like?

I found them!
I found the ones that I've used before, the Alpha B100K that has a 20 mm long 1/4 D shaft on eBay here in Australia, I just ordered 4 of them.
