The Tony Eyers Trio have come together to demonstrate the Seydel Sailor Steel tremolo harmonica.

The Sailor Steel tremolo has essentially the same note layout as a standard "Richter" tuned diatonic harmonica. It has a richer sound than the Asian style tremolo harmonicas, which generally feature a "dry" tuning. The result is a powerful instrument, well suited to traditional tunes.

Here we play Soldiers Joy, you can see it here

I bought a Seydel Sailor Tremolo about a couple years back. I've performed several Irish tunes on it, as well as used it for a Christmas show last year. The tremolo sound can be haunting as by a rendition of Wayfaring Stranger I played on it for a couple performances last year. The Richter tuning made it easy to start picking up and playing. Recommended if you are looking to expand into something different while not straying from the standard layout.
