Not exactly a blues tune, but can anyone tell me which key harmonica is played in the mid-song break in Jimmy Buffett's "Pencil-Thin Mustache"? Seems that the guitar is played is D, but I can't figure out which harp is used.

I played it through on a Standard G as Gnarly suggested and it sounded ok. There were a few bend releases in the piece Like -3**/-3 double draw bend released to a straight draw on hole 3, and -5/-5* straight draw to single draw bend on 5 and -4/-4*.
-1+2-2-3**/-3 -4,-4/-4*,[-3**]-4 -5/-5*,+5 -4/-4*+4 Chord (-3-4) +4-4-3+3, -3-2+2,-3-2+2, -3-2+2, -2-2 Chord (-3-4)
The only problem was the [-3**] I had to use this bend on 3 to get the note but he didn't appear to be playing a bent note. Could be a Paddy Richter used in the key of G where blow 2 is raised in pitch to achieve this note with a straight blow?
EDIT TO CORRECT Yes, I meant 3 tuned up a whole step ta. Thanks for the info and wiki link Gnarly.

Yes, that's the note--but he is probably bending, Fingers had chops! Looks like he is suffering from Alzheimer's, poor fellow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_%22Fingers%22_Taylor
I, on the other hand, retune harmonicas to fit my purposes, Paddy is a great option but I usually go at least to Melody Maker--no CT or Paddys in my kit, but lots of oddballs . . .

I think that Paddy Richter has the blow 3 tuned up a whole step, on a G harp from D to E. ----------

Most folks tune blow three, but I have heard of others altering draw 2.
