So I was embarrassed at a recent jam when the gal came up to sing an amazing version of Junior Wells' "Messin' With the Kid" and I was on harp and I didn't know the head. Played some lead and had fun, but didn't know the head so had to sit back multiple times.
Simple solution for next time: Downloaded Adam's 5 Chicago Blues Classics For INTERMEDIATES and ADVANCED INTERMEDIATES.
Great 44 min. tutorial!!! Solved the head part right away, but Adam I think referenced the Junior Wells solos from Hoodoo Man Blues album. The iTunes version of the album does not have "Messin' With the Kid" on it.
What iTunes album do I need to get that version from? Is it the "Chicago/The Blues /Today! Vol. 1"?
Sorry to be so harmonica nerdish, but am now finally retired and can focus more on harp geek stuff. ---------- Twitter ~ BossoBrewingCo

Yep, you got it; Chicago the blues today is the source for the version which is subject of Adam’s lesson. Jr must have liked that 2nd chorus of his solo. He already used it on the Hoodoo Man Blues album. I think it’s on Look Over Yonder’s Wall.
