Seydel have released a new harmonica holder, called the Gecko, made in conjunction with US based Pete Farmer, well known for his ingenious Foot Drums. The Gecko is a complete rethink of the harmonica holder. The traditional harmonica holder clamp is replaced by a magnet, allowing harmonica changeovers with one hand. The Gecko provides fine adjustment of harmonica height, tilt and angle, the latter done via a pair of screws.
The best feature is a "memory". The holder (or rack) is easily loosened, but returns to the exact previous setting when put back into place, without having to re-adjust it anew. This is a major improvement.
