Hohner is owned by KHS http://khs-america.com/contact/
Suzuki USA is owned by KMC, a division of Jam Industries https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KMCMusicorp
Anyone who says otherwise is itching for a fight.
Oh, and I am still the authorized warranty repair guy for Suzuki USA. Did I mention the one year warranty?

Yes, I did an out of warranty repair on a Manji for you that turned out great! Draw 1 left the building . . . This thread was started in response to a post on the MBH Facebook page, a fellow was claiming that I had been fired. There are two guys working harmonicas for Suzuki now--Daron Stinton was given a job working for the new company, you will see him at SPAH (and NAMM!). And then there's me--I am an independent contractor, which has been my status pretty much the whole time, except that my contract is now with KMC. So they are having me cover warranty repairs and issues--like customers who buy chromatics and don't really know how to play them--I can usually solve their problems over the phone. I am quoting Rockin' Ron, without permission . . . "wow, you fixed a manufacture defect (says Mickey) over the phone. You are a sorcerer. " Sorry Mickey if I have outed you.

Ownership matters, but not as much as the folks that you have to deal with. Like Ron, or Brendan, or Joe Spiers--or me! (see how I did that . . .)
