Which harp/key should I use to acompagny and improvise a little over this song?
Does this link work? or this
And I really don't get it. It seems that playing on a C harp 1st position over this song sounds OK, altough I think it is played in D major...? or this

C harp. Play in D minor, depending on which version you are working with
-4 -4 -6 -6 5 -5 5 -4 Are you going to scarbo-rough fair?
-6 7 -8 7 -6 -7 6 -6 Parsley, sage, rosema-ry and thyme.
-8 -8 -8 7 -6 -6 6 -5 5 Re-member me to one who lives there,
-4 -6 6 -5 5 -4 4 -4 She once was a- true love of mine.
- = draw

Thx for the 1st song. 3rd link is the same question. what harp to use best to improvise over the song... And the wierd thing i find. PLaying on a C harp 1st position sounds ok over this 3rd link, but I have the score before me and ot has 2 sharp as signature, so D major...

I begin to realize that you can improvise over any song in all 12 harps, it is more a question of in what position do I like to improvise... Is that correct?

The melody lays out perfectly in 3rd position, as andysheep8 showed. So if it were me, I'd improvise in 3rd position so I could play variations off the melody.

The Sally Garden link is in the key of C. The score you have in front of you is not. Look at the video, the score is at the top, with no sharps or flats. Hope this helps. You are correct about using different positions on all harps. Check out Howard Levy, he might just blow your mind.
