I am not too sure why I am just so damned confused after watching that video.

I feel........lost, but magical at the same time. Kinda like I am floating on the back of a unicorn with a purple cape on, whistling through the clouds.

EDIT: I feel like the meaning of life has suddenly become much more convoluted to me. I need a drink.

I've been listening to Holdsworth since 1973 since he was with jazz drummer Jon Heisman's hard rock band Tempest, have seen him a half dozen times in ten years, and own a good many of his solo albums and his many collaborations. This is a jaw dropping tribute , technical perfection to my ears, and an inspired replication of Holdsworth's riffs, phrase, speed and tone and especially that odd sense of time he had. Holdsworth was Coltrane-level genius on the guitar, and this rendition of the AH tune is a very fine and very heart felt tribute to the late guitarist. My hats off to the harmonica player and thanks for posting H2H. Here is Holdsworth's original , for comparison .

@1847: S Charlier has been playing Holdsworth stuff quite a while, as far as I´ve understood.
Presumably he uses some kind of slow downer in order to catch the guitar stuff; also, he plays in lydian tuning -- which may, or may not, be an advantage here.
