Joe Lansdale is a wonderful writer and a great guy to boot. He's won top awards in multiple genres...horror, sci-fi, western, and mystery. His Hap and Leonard series is set in East Texas, where he hangs his hat. He's currently out on a book tour, so if he hits your local book store drop by and visit with him. And...buy a book.
