I saw muddy waters in either 1966 or 67 in oak ridge tennessee at a juke joint called the paradise inn.....just wonder if the drummer was fred below......the harp player could have been either george smith or more likely mojo buford......it was over 50 years ago and was only 16 years old.......was already listening to john r WLAC nashville.....it was probably the chitlin circuit....there were some that said james brown and otis redding performed there

I agree with 6SN7 that it could have been Clay, who moved to the James Cotton band at some point during this time frame, or maybe S.P. Leary or Willie Smith. I wouldn't expect it to have been Below. And Mojo Buford and Sammy Lawhorn on harp and guitar. ---------- BnT
