For those who care. The Marine Band Deluxe became my go to harp after they hit the market. Then, Hohner quit distribution in the U.S. in favor of the Crossover. I don't know whether they gave in and began again, but I do know that I ordered a set from Rockin' Rons a couple of weeks ago in case they go away again.

I believe that’s a deal Ron organised himself. That is, I think Hohner USA is not supplying him.

The MBD is still produced, and is sold widely throughout the EU. I believe Hohner made a strategic decision to stop distributing them in the US. I guess Rockin Ron has found a way to get them directly from Hohner Germany, or from an EU middleman.
