Smoke On The Water, Enter Sandman, Smells Like Teen Spirit...Over the years there have been a lot of badass guitar riffs just simple enough to ALMOST play that every aspiring guitarist could successfully torture friends and relatives for hours upon hours on end.
Are there any of these in the harmonica world? I started thinking about it because a girl at a jam last week asked me to play You Don't Know How It Feels sitting at a table after almost everyone had left. I thought maybe that is the Smoke On The Water Of harmonica or something. Lol

Actually, Stairway is a very good harp piece. Try it..

I do Stairway with rack harp and guitar, using a Major Cross in G . . .

Most places I play, Stairway has a red circle with a slash going through it.

Funny about Stairway. I remember sitting through one lesson where we worked on it, though I knew I would never play it.
Let's see another would be Amazing Grace..or When the Saints go Marching
or
The House of the Rising Sun..though I don't know if any harp actually play that or like myself run for the door every time I hear a guitar start in with it..
all perfectly fine songs in their own right I'm sure

A harmonica equivalent to STH?
I can imagine a sign saying
NO JUKE
NO HEART OF GOLD
on the wall at Harmonica Center, if there were such a place.

I think some folks do a fine job on some of those songs.
Perhaps it is the thousands of peeps who beat the songs to death over the years that kinda gets you looking for the exit when you hear them after awhile.again,& again & again...etc
