Charlie plays it in B flat-so I would guess Dennis is using a Low E flat-but you could be right if he's playing in third position-

Wow, I don't understand how one gets tone like that. My tone always sounds better to me when I am playing than it does played back. I can feel like I am getting a really clear full tone, and then watch a video that someone recorded and it's all airy and thin and just sounds like crap.

you're probably right i was thinking low f at first, this sounds lower. i have never owned a harp lower than f but i can imagine dennis may play one.

Dennis really enjoys specially low tuned harmonicas and has had some custom made.

Glad Charlie has turned down a bit in his old age!

Dennis plays awesome swing style lines during the verses, but that key change chorus is not his friend, although he did his best to make it through.

Sounds ok to me-he's using stock Thunderbird harps.

SweetBlood-Dennis' tone is a culmination of woodshedding, precise technique and tongue-blocking.

His acoustic tone is astounding-probably the number one technique most pro harp players have down.
