For the first time today I played some good stuff that sounded right in 5th position. Bb harp on a D minor jam track from Quist. It got me thinking of special tracks that helped me make sense of other positions and took my playing forward.
Walter Horton's "Trouble In Mind" got me away in first position. I still love and practice that these days.
Blues Traveler's "Make My Way" was pivotal for my 3rd position playing.
