Can you bend hole 2 down a whole step? And then, can you play hole 3 draw at the same time?
On a C, that's a B on draw 3, and draw 2 begins as a G note, but should approach an F.
C'mon, everybody try it--I can manifest it a little. I want to hear if any of you guys can do it, or have been doing it.
I will bet cash money that Winslow can do it!

Not quite clear on this is the objective to have a bend on the 2 draw but not bend the 3 draw, or does the 3 draw bend also cause I think thats the only way I could pull it off.

Yes, my idea is to be able to play the interval of a b5, b7 to 3, and then flat the third a little bit so it's more in tune. It might be asking too much--still, I am just asking.

Not really placed to try it. I have heard Jimi Lee bend the 6 and play the 5 straight. At the time I confess I didn’t know what he was on about but now you mention it, I guess he had b7 + b9 for interval of a minor 3rd. I have probably got a recording of him doing it.

Well, I am starting to think this isn't possible. At SPAH, I asked Winslow to play V of V, an F# and an A, on a C, holes 2 and 3, and he was able to do it. But this combination seems problematic, I might want to attend to other more pressing matters. Thanks for checking it out, and if you can do it, post!

I tried it and I can do it but the 3 Draw doesn't sound all that great. I'm more accustomed to bending both holes down to play two notes of a chord, like (on a C-harp) F# and A of the D chord or F and A of the F chord. Maybe I'll make a litle recording when I have some time. =========== Winslow

Thanks Winslow--I think the problem is the target intonation, a tritone isn't stable so what "note" do you give the harp to get the notes to change? It's a rhetorical question, don't hurt yourself!
