Hey guys i just got GE-7 and got some great advice on how to set it here on MBH. (Thanks!!)
I'm considering adding a Squeal Killer in my quest for more volume without feedback.
Have any of you tried there together and do you think it will help achieve my objective?

Save the money for a bigger amp, have a look at the Quilter ProBlock 200, only 4 lbs but you'll need a speaker cab

I'm playing through a Bassman now. No matter how big your amp is feedback will be an issue if you are playing with a loud band.

I bought a Squeal Killer yrs back used but almost brand new for $200.I use it with my Meteor 50 watt and with my Fender 4/10 DeVille and it works well giving me more head room with out feedback than without. Prior to that I used a Rocktron Hush original plastic version as that worked well also but will say that the Squeal killer worked better and I liked it because it was hard wired /less 9 volters the better.I have also used the same combinations with a LW Tone Plus which serves as a equalizer(to me at least).I have a MXR 6 band eq but hav,nt tried that as of yet because I,m pretty happy with the set ups as they are.

I'd recommend to get a LoneWolf HarpShield. In combination with EQ it can be completely feedback free setup into Bassman. For every room put you mic on a stand and try to move faders of your eq. You will find that some of them a more prone to feedback. Then, move them down a bit (not all way!). Also you can dial any of them for tone you like more. ----------
