I just read that Greg Allman has passed away. Allman Brothers Band was one of my all-time favorites.

A real loss - terrific vocalist and musician.

First rock concert I ever went to was John Mayall, The Edgar Winter Group and The Allman Brothers Band at the Jacksonville Coliseum in 1972 or 73 (freshman year in college). It was an eye opening experience for me. They have all held a special place in my heart ever since.

Might have been the best Southern blues rock singer ever.
Had a voice to give you, chills.

It's amazing Greg lived as long as he did. He evidently lived awfully hard for many years.

As an aging rocker, another loss like this one feels like another hole in my soul.

Greg's voice defined Southern Rock for me for many years.
