Really!!! Watched some the movie tonight on TV, after 1 hour I realised it was sped up maybe a little bit but enough to move to another station, so annoying, thoughts?

Don't get me started on the monster that is cable television service in the US. It's all of the hubris and shitting on the customer you'd expect from a monopoly (and no, I'm not counting satellite and or the internet as a substitute for purposes of that statement).

I've got no idea why they would speed it up unless it was to accommodate more commercials, but I thought that was regulated by the FCC. I'm assuming you're in the US, Steamrollin.

In any case, I share your frustration. I've dialed our service WAY BACK. Totally stripped down package for TV with internet connection. Supplemented by Netflix and Anmazon Prime, which if memory serves has all Blues Bros movies available, untampered with, all the time.

Stan be in Sydney iirc. I watched sumvit tonight too, just from where they pull up at the soul food cafe as hooker and Horton are playing in the street, up until the British model (twiggy?) drives off after Elwood fills her tank and makes a pass.
But I didn't notice it was accelerated. Then again, I wasn't really watching. I paid to watch it about 3 or 4 weeks back

After 1 hour the backflips and other stunts was obvious, I watched this movie about ten times since its on screen showing, just like any other old gold flicks, meh!!!!

I also watched it. Didn't notice any speed problems but it was edited weirdly in places....

I also watched a bit of it. I thought there was something wrong/different but I couldn't put my finger on it. I'm glad others noticed something.

Just every so often the movie sped up. Maybe for more commercials but on ch SBS its not a real heavy advertiser, so buggered if I know.

There was a huge difference between the volume of the movie and the volume of the ads as well.
